An update from November and December
Dear Friends,
I’m becoming a volcano.
For years, I’ve been in conflict with myself. The part of me that loves dirt and water and wandering and eating strange mushrooms and talking to plants... was at war with the part of me that loves technology, programming, the beauty of code, the architecture of the internet.
I couldn’t be both. So I chose one and buried the other.
I’m done with that.
I’m integrating. I’m bringing the hacker back. The part of me that wanted to crack systems open, see how they work, rebuild them better.
But, not just code —Thoughtware.
I’m becoming an Ethical Thoughtware Hacker.
Finding vulnerabilities in how we think, how we relate, how we build. Offering upgrades that have helped me and that might help others reach their integrity and sovereignty in their being and their creations.
This is showing up practically right now in a few ways:
1) I’m taking a pause from working at the farm. Which is perfect timing, because I’m launching something I’ve been building toward: xpweb.site—express websites for $500. Tiny homes for the internet. Simple, beautiful, fully functional. Websites are foundations of the digital world. I’m building 5 this week.
2) I’ve been developing a web platform for a gameworld called School of Conscious Communication—dedicated to researching and offering tools that support communication between human groups, leading to more collaboration, synergy, understanding, clarity, intimacy, and love-happening.
The originator, Elijah Ignatieff, was a trailblazer, cultural creative, gameworld builder, a close friend and colleague. He passed away in 2023. He left parts of his gameworld with me and many others in his circle to create what’s called a “Shared Knowledge Community.”
I’ve been collaborating with Claude AI, and a few other contributors to build these tools—a Time Translator map and a card catalog system.

3. I’ve created a Telegram channel called “Make Your Website Team”—a tech support space where anyone can pitch in, ask questions, and get what you need to make your website. No matter your level of expertise. We’ll be focused on building, updating, and launching websites together, inspired by the experiments at Make Your Website in the StartOver.xyz gameworld.

4. I’m going to visit my parents in Ontario in February. A trip I’m creating with my partner and family. It requires sourcing more money than what my box is familiar with and a new level of stepping into what I’m capable of creating. If you’re in Ontario, or relatively close by, I’d love to meet.
5. I’m doing an Online Expand The Box in January—a month-long training that’s an initiation into a new level of adulthood. If you’re a parent, if you want to live in community, if you’re a healer wanting to level up your skills—I want you in this with me.
6. I’m running Men’s Circle: Earth’s Heart every two weeks in Sooke, BC. with the purpose of nourishing our hearts and souls with music, being together, getting to our edge, fire, feet on the earth and speaking from the heart.
7. I’m co-creating a 1-year next culture community living project on Vancouver Island for Spring 2026. Multi-family, multi-generational, regenerative, alive, juicy. If this is interesting to you and have questions about it, I’d love to hear from you.
8. I continue cleaning up my relating spaces—mending harm I’ve caused, reclaiming parts of myself I haven’t forgiven, taking my energy back.
I just finished the first 4 weeks of calls with a team of 5 who are also on a journey to clean up their relating spaces. I celebrate our commitment to this path of healing and incarnating more and more in this human experience, here and now.
9. And, The Re-villaging worktalk is happening tomorrow—I’m doing a worktalk with a colleague and village weaver Svetlana Kostel, tomorrow Tuesday, December 16th, from 11am-12:30pm PST.
We’ll be having an intimate talk about our experiences in community, what has worked and what hasn’t, and how is possible to create the clarity needed to live, work and play together.
